On the 19th of January we invite you to Svenskt Tenn Strandvägen 5 to view their fantastic collection of artful craft work and listen to the story of how Svenskt Tenn's founder Estrid Ericson together with Josef Frank built a company with a continuos outflow of bold art. How they created the elegant and boldly patterned personal interior design style that continues to pervade the collection to this day. And of course we will have tea in the Svenskt Tenn Tea Room. *This event will be held in Swedish.
About Svenskt Tenn
Svenskt Tenn is a Swedish interior design company located on Strandvägen in Stockholm, Sweden. It was founded in 1924 by Estrid Ericson, who recruited Josef Frank to the company 10 years later. The company today maintains a Swedish cultural treasure; Eighty percent of Svenskt Tenn’s collection consists of products that are of their own design. Josef Frank alone left behind 2,000 furniture sketches and about 160 textile designs - the archives are filled to the brim.
